About The Role
The purpose of this role is to analyze, test and maintain electronic data interchange across ThrivePass products and systems. The EDI Specialist is responsible for the set-up and maintenance of new and existing vendor connections.
Responsibilities
- Consistently hit quarterly goals while embodying our CARE values.
- Capture and document business and functional requirements, perform analysis, and testing.
- Manage and maintain an active pipeline of 30+ file integration projects within established SLAs.
- Ensure elected EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) offering adheres to client’s needs and regulatory requirements.
- Work directly with carriers and vendors to review requirements, coordinate testing, and ensure files are production ready.
- Troubleshoot and support client and partner inquiries regarding existing EDI.
- Use available configuration tools in proprietary middleware software to build file process automations.
- Partner with internal development team to build new file automations and set up SFTP exchange.
- Participate in sustainment responsibilities, such as production monitoring, file maintenance, and tracing where files are in the EDI lifecycle.
- Resolve issues and complications, answers customer questions and identify patterns or trends with problems and recommend prompt solutions.
- Provide support to other colleagues in the business by providing recommendations on problem resolution when they arise.
- Own the development of new processes and procedural documentation.
Requirements
- 1+ years’ experience with EDI formats (i.e. Fixed width, JSON, XML, etc.).
- Familiar with benefit enrollment platforms (i.e. TPA, COBRA, CDH, Health and Wealth, etc.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Attention to detail and highly effective planning, organizational, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and pick up new knowledge and skills in a fast paced and changing environment.
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
- Knowledge of HSA, HRA, FSA and COBRA a plus.
Salary Offered
$60,000-$90,000/annually
