About The Role
The Banking & Reconciliation Supervisor is responsible for the successful management of operational finance activities across all benefits products to ensure exceptional client and participant experiences. This role is the banking operations expert and will support both internal and external constituents. They are expected to deliver quality projects and outcomes within the specified timeline and defined scope.
Responsibilities
Provides daily oversight of timely payment and reimbursement activities to participants and clients Directly supervise Finance Operations team by holding weekly 1:1’s to review goals and ongoing role expectations. Provide coaching and development to support growth and address performance issues as needed. Collect and maintain KPI data points for Finance Operations. Leads root cause analysis and critical thinking exercises to address operational errors and facilitates process optimization to mitigate future occurrences Oversees the processes for stop payments, voids, ACH returns and necessary payment reissues Manages the daily and monthly funding activities, including daily deposits, reconciliations, premium transfers and participant refunds Provides guidance and oversight in response to escalated client or participant issues and proactively informs Leadership and Operations of complications and resolutions Consistently hit personal and team quarterly Big 3 goals while embodying our CARE values. Appropriately assign quarterly goals to individual team members with proper milestones and reporting Recommends problem resolution and process improvements as driven by client requirements and feedback while considering the organization’s policies and strategic priorities Directs timely reconciliation of client and participant accounts, as well as the reconciliation of all related ThrivePass bank accounts Ensures process documentation for all key operational finance functions is maintained and updates are effectively communicated to impacted departments Requirements
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage in a dynamic changing environment Ability to work cross departmentally to solutions for and propose process optimization roadmaps History of successful outcomes in the professional development of individuals and teams Technical knowledge of Third Party Administration regulatory requirements Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner Prior experience working with accounting systems (Quickbooks Online, preferred) Demonstrated ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail Salary Offered
$60,000 - $70,000 per year
